My grandma just got diagnosed with stage 1 bone cancer?? :((((?
My mom called me today and said my grandma was just diagnosed with stage 1 bone cancer today! :( she suffered from a heart attack about a year go and now this... I'm just so worried about it because she's old, about 73 and I just dint think she will be able to handle this,... But is stage 1 bone cancer easy to cure? I'm assuming stage 1 isn't that bad, but it's good that it got detected I'm sure. That's allmy mom told me over the phone, and she said my grandma doesn't like to talk about it at all but they already have or are going to do some kind of treatment.. That's all they told me,.., so do wei really have anything to worry about. Like it coming back or something.???

i am sorry to say that bone cancer is not really curable ,however it can go into remission.i have a sister who at this time is taking treatments for bone cancer.she will be undergoing a stem cell transplant after her chemo treatments.she has cancer in 90% of her bones, after being in remission for 3 years.at your grandmothers age,i would weigh all my options.with treatment it could go into remission, keeping in mind that chemo can make you very sick,my sister will be buying time for a cure or a better treatment to be discovered.keeping a positive attitude is one of the best medicines,so put on that smile and keep the faith.God is still in the miracle making business!! I will keep you and your grandmother in prayer!
