Will this get my metabolism back up and running?
Okayi know it's bad, I don't plan on doing it ever agin but I starved myself for about a week ( I got some calories by drinking protein powder drinks & tea)... How can I get my metabolism back up again? Just eat a little, and then eat more and more everyday?

You regulate your metobolism by eating regularly. When you body feels like it is starving your metabolism slows to store fat beacuse it thinks there is no food supply. When you eat regularly the body knows food will be coming so it burns off the calories that it does't need because it knows the next meal will be coming. You need to burn more calories than you consume according to this source site www.how-many-calories-to-lose-weight.biz to utilise your metabolism.
Eating many (5) small meals throughout the day helps boost metabolism. Its better then eating 3 big meals a day. As long as these many small meals are healthy and give nutrition to the body the metabolism will have a boost and regulate to be faster.
Exercise also boosts the metabolism beacuse it is using the fat stores for enegry. This providing the energy to do the movements and keep the heart rate going.
Good Luck!

Restricting calories makes your body want to conserve energy, therefore making it harder to lose weight. You want to give yourself a little boost by increasing your heart rate. Start off with something simple, like doing 20 jumping jacks right when you wake up in the morning.
