Italy VS France? Who would win in war?

Okay, I'm not French or Italian so I'll give my unbiased answer.

It appears both of you are bragging. France the fourth most powerful country? Not by any measure. India or the UK would take that posotion after the USA, China and Russia.

As it stands currently, France probably has the higher chance of winning due to the fact it has the larger Army, Navy and Air Force giving it greater capabilities. And let us not forget France posseses the third largest stockpile of nuclear weapons in the world.

Despite a few surrenders in the past, France does have a good history of military victories.

I'd put my money on France winning this one, but the Italians wouldn't be defeated easily unless you dropped an M51 on them.

France has a better military, but Italy has Pizza

From the medieval era and onward, the French have repeatedly decimated the Italians. This war would be over in quick and merciless fashion, as French troops would be marching into Rome within days.

Well, on the past, let's not forget Rome and where it lies..... How many countries did Rome conquer? So let's forget about the past shall we, since if we really want to analyze it, no one, not even the British were advanced at that time. France does have a record of surrenders, and I would assume from historical knowledge that if time would pass for a war, they would be neutral like Switzerland. But I would say that in war, physical hand to hand battle, Italians would win. It just so happens they tend to be a bit more blood loving. So pretty sure they would win, but against Germany. So sorry lol, everyone loses.

Who really cares? We're all allies at the end of the day. Why should it matter which side would win in a war?

If nuclear weaponry is allowed, France is going to won this easily.

If nuclear weaponry is disallowed:

-If France and Italy going all-out war, France would won this but gonna be depleted almost of its military power for defeating Italy.

-If France attacking and Italy defending, Its gonna take a long time for the Italians to defend themselves, and when France stopping the attack because they are depleted, Italy will counter-attack and Italy would won this war.

-If Italy attacking and France defending, Italy military will be lost, and France will won this war.

Both country's are weak I'm sorry to say. France over-rate themselves but deep down they know there a bunch of girls. I've always noticed that Britain and France hate each other due to this as France tend to think that they have won more wars and are a better fighting force (don't make me laugh)but they seem to forget britain saved there country in 1944.Meanwhile Italy are pathetic, they are a liability when fighting with them as they seem to change sides lol.

Italy. The world would rather have pizza than croissants so Italy would have a ton more allies
