Ive got an hp dv6t with an i7 2630, and hd 6770m switchable graphics. When im at the library at school i game on the intel hd 3000 because less heat and noise.
In Modern warfare 2 i play at 1360 x 768, no AA, textures on normal, and all other things like v sync, ragdoll effects, shadows, bullet decals off. I was getting 35-40 fps. Never dropped below 30.
At these settings it looks the same as on the 360.

Intel 3000 graphics are poor for modern games like Black Ops. Get a higher end dedicated video card/chip by Nvidia or AMD if you are getting a computer for games
