I have two bathrooms separated by a wall.I can take a shower and the comode in the other bathroom bubbles up.?

The same thing happens when flushing the comodes. All sinks and everything else drains great. Also the sewer line coming to the house is not stopped up because I have a drain in the basement at the lowest point and it has not over flowed. What can I try before calling a plummer?

you have a blockage in the branch main drain before it reaches the pipe in the basement. As Dan said run a cable machine through the vent or if vent is not accessable use a 1/4" cable to snake through the shower drain to the basement main drain.

The vent stack is most likely plugged up. Get on the roof and try to run a plumber's snake down the vent stack as far as you can reach.
