What is the penalty for cheating on Yahoo Answers?
There is a poster on YA who has 33% ""Best Answers".....14% of those best answers came from the same person....ALMOST 50%
The person who gave him all those "Best Answers" has a 34% "Best Answer"...... 51% of his best answers came from his friend (?)..... that is 38 / 74 answers from one person...... AMAZING !!

I have been on here for almost two years.... got 22% "Best Answers"...... that is 1,456 "Best Answers"..... and only 2 or 3 from the same person.....???

Is it possible that these two are helping each other?.....OR..... maybe they are the same person?

Sort of makes a mockery of the "Best Answer" award...... or the the "Top Answerers" Award

I've met a few along the way such as yourself who have some integrity about them but for the most part YA has a bunch of bottom feeders that wouldn't know decency & right behavior if it slapped them in the face.

They do that to level their accounts up so they can thumbs down people. Go look in the Germany travel section it's a cesspool of thumbs - some in the resolved questions have 50 or even 100 or more thumbs down. What a person gets out of doing this I don't know.

The pts don't get you anything so its nothing to fuss over. If yahoo gave out money to top contributors then i'd get annoyed. But you get nothing soooo... meh
