Best 2 rated Phones @ "What HiFi" magazine were the "Samsung Galaxy S" + the iPhone4 last time i looked a few months ago.
Personally I use the iPhone3GS, and it's an absolute beauty... easy to navigate menu's.... contacts info laid out in a way that it's actually possible to read them.... no keys that accidently phone people up / fire-up the internet browser and waste your phone credit everytime you brush past something.
The apps are brilliant too, and it's also one of the best portable media players money can buy (or at least it's close relative the iPOD Touch is).
If you watch carefully in certain episodes of TOP GEAR, such as the Classic car rally in series13, or the Romania trip in series14, you might spot that Clarkson + Hammond + May all use iPhones, too.

I have an Android Samsung Galaxy and have to say that I quite like it. My wife has an iPhone 4 and although its a bit slicker, the Samsung is cheaper on a monthly basis and alot of the Apps that cost money on the iTunes are free on the Android market place. One thing I would say is that the battery life isnt that great especially if you use the internet alot.
I do think that eventually Androids will win the war!! But lets see what the iPhone 5 brings to the table.

If you're not too bothered by not having a physical keyboard, then go for the Samsung Galaxy S 2, HTC Desire Z if you want a keyboard.

Droid 3 does not exist. I would get a Droid 2 if you want a physical keyboard. Otherwise if virtual is ok then i would get the DroidX2, a Droid Incredible 2, or the HTC thunderbolt. All great phones

i have an LG rumor touch and it is pretty good! The only thing is that the touch screen messes up sometimes but it is very rare! They slide out keyboard on it is great!
