How much does a navel piercing hurt?

I've gotten both ear lobes pierced twice, and have had my cartilage pierced. I've heard the cartilage hurts much worse than the navel; is it true? Any input is greatly appreciated :)

I also have my lobes and cartilage pierced, and am positive that my navel hurt much less than the cartilage. Though, each pain threshold is different, and yours just might hurt a bit more.

Piercing the navel is the same as piercing the cartilage in my opinion. But as long as you relax your fine. Don't expect it or it'll hurt.

Cartilage hurts worse than a navel.

Honestly, I didnt feel my piercer even put the needle through.

It's a very painless piercing to get done, but the aftercare can get pretty annoying since they take anywhere from 6 months to a year to heal.

i had never gotten ANYTHING pierced before my belly button, and it did not hurt at all! i am terrified of needles and thought i was going to die but it was absolutely fine. It does hurt for a few days afterward though, bending over can be a pain and sleeping on your stomach goes out the window for a few days..good luck!
