Should I use an at home relaxer?
Ok so Im of middle eastern descent and I know culture has to do with hair texture. Anyways the front half of my hair (from ears forward) is actually smooth slightly wavy and poofy when towel dried or air dried. Now the back half ranges from the same as the front to extremely coarse, nappy, SUPER THICK. Im not talking like I have alot of hair, ( I do) but I mean the strand itself looks like twine compared to the fine thin hair of the front of my head. I have no idea why this happens. I guess I can blame genetics, but I was wondering if you would recommend me to use an at home relaxer or any type of smoothing treatment for my wild hair, and if so what specific brand or type. I dont want to do damage to my thin hair. I typically straighten my hair on a day to day basis with the occasional natural hair with hair cream in it.

NOOOOOO ; it will damage your hair soooo bad!!! Go to a salon and ask about there relaxers. You may want to look into the Brazilian Keratin Treatment. (Not the Brazilian Blowout! that can cause damage to your health)
P.S. Make sure when you straighten your hair to use a heat protectant so you don't damage your hair (:

If you have never put chemicals in your hair before, do not attempt it for the first time at home. Have it done in a salon.
