Is there a way I can use a new android metro pcs phone on the 40$ plan?
I was recently given an LG Optimus M for metro pcs and I went up to have it activated, they told me the monthly fee would be upgraded to the 50$ a month plan. My family and I really don't have the money right now, plus we are kinda cheap anyway, so, if there is a way around it, that would be awesome! Thank you

No there isn't. It says very specificly smartphones require the $50 plan.

I easily have the two a Metro and a VM telephone, and the shortcoming of 3g records speeds is a good sized turn-off with Metro. The optimus M/V are very manageable android recommendations for rattling close to ANY pre-paid service in the rustic. My virgin telephone is exceedingly decently speedy, be it information superhighway surfing, tweeting, and so forth. Metro telephone is painstakingly sluggish. The LG Esteem is greater effective each of how around!
