How can I stay awake in class?

I sleep for about 8 hours a day and I wake up rested, however, in class, I get very tired.

I notice it is usually after about one to one and a half hours that I start getting tired. I need to get up and walk around. Walking around helps keep me awake. For instance, if I go get water, I will be able to focus.

During tests I am able to go through the entire test without a yawn, but once I am done I get sleepy. Once I go to break, I am not tired anymore. I will enter the class fresh after a passing period.

A little good exercise couldn't kill I suppose, it would give you more energy for the day if you incorporate it into your lifestyle and although this option is an unhealthy one....Monster energy has not failed on me for rough mornings! Good luck!

I know this may sound funny, but I don't know how old you are. If you are old enough to drink a caffeinated drink, that is the first option for most. I try to opt out of it, because I get that "jittery" feeling. So I started making chocolate milk at my house & putting it in a to go drink container & drinking it through class. It helps big time! Try it. I am also a little lactose intolerant, but for some reason chocolate milk doesn't upset my stomach, if I use the chocolate syrup that you mix in fresh cold milk. Hope this helps!
