Is taking 16 units at a community college too much?

I am going to a community college in the Fall. I applied for 5 classes and it's a total of 16 units. I am not working a part time job either. This is going to be my first year going to college and I was wondering if taking these classes would be too overwhelming for me. I read on ratemyprofessor.com that all these classes have really good and chill professors. One of my friend's has three classes with me and another friend has just one with me. Do you think taking 16 units at a community college would be too much? I am not working a part time job therefore there will be more time devoted to school and study. Below is a my schedule. If anyone can help me determine whether or not this will be too stressful for my year in a community college and give me some advice on how to balance my time to study in each class that would be great. Thank you very much! :D

Japanese 1 - MWF 7:00-8:45AM --- [5 units]

Pre Alegebra - MWF 2:00-3:45PM --- [2 units]

History - MW 8:50-10:25AM --- [3 units]

Art History - Th 6:00-9:20PM --- [3 units]

Political Science M 6:50-10:10PM --- [3 units] (It's an online class and only meet 6 times throughout the semester).

It's going to depend on your own strengths and weaknesses, but 16 credits is a very reasonable course load for someone who doesn't have major responsibilities (like a job or a child) outside of school.

In any case, you will have the opportunity to drop classes after the first meeting with no record on your transcript, and you will have the opportunity to withdraw from classes well into the semester and get a W on your transcript, so if it turns out to be more than you bargained before, you'll have options.

    Have a great semester.

I've taken 15 credits in a semester, and I have friends who have taken 18, and friends who have taken 15 in a summer semester. Just know, history is going to be A LOT of reading and writing, and language courses are a great deal of work. My first semester of French was difficult, but the second was much harder and that was my 15 credit semester. just be ready to have no life, and if worst comes to worst if you find that you can't handle you can always drop the class before the academic penalty date. Oh and study on your breaks!

No that isnt too much its fine those are the easier classes i suggest yes take them cause if you fall behind and watch all your other friends graduate before you do you will regret it for a very long time and still feel like a loser 23 at college do it :) TRUST MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
