I would say that they have MOST of the best players but not all. As much as I like Heather Mitts I have no doubt that Whitney Engen is currently a better defender than her; Tasha Kai is a better striker/forward than Amy Rodriguez (who is fast but can't finish to save her life); and you cannot tell me that Jill Loyden is one of the 3 best keepers in America. At the very least Val Henderson is better.

I think a lot of it has to do with experience. A lot of these players have a lot of experience and are older and a lot of the WPS players are young. I think tasha kai is much better than amy rod, but she has a crap attitude. i think for the MOST part the right players are chosen. the only reason jill loyden was chosen was because their 3rd string got hurt last minute.

Wrong
No just the opposite. The International rules allow players from the US or players they have played in the US to be a part of another countries International squad. I do not fault these other players. They truly want and desire to play at that level. It does not make them better or worse. They had and an opportunity and took it.
