Fired but not notified yet?
I work at Dunkin Donuts in Connecticut. I took 9 days off to go on vacation and my boss was ok with that, before I left she said "see you when you get back". I called today to get my schedule and one of my co-workers said I was no longer on the schedule. I believe I am fired, but they have not notified me of this and I tired calling my manager 3 times. What are my rights and can they fire me without telling me?

I would go to the business and talk to the manager in person. Act normal and let the manager know that you have returned and would like to be put back on the schedule.
I'm not sure about the law in Connecticut but at least in Texas you would have no right to the job meaning that you could fired for any legal, nondiscriminatory reason or for no reason. The boss could just not put you on the schedule ever again, but not actually "fire" you.
Just because your boss was "okay" with you taking 9 vacation days does not mean that the boss did not have to take action to cover your shifts, including possibly hiring someone else.

Go in to the store and talk to the manager in person. As to rights you have the right to show up for work and get paid. Yes they can fire you without telling you. Yes you can quit also without telling them. At will means they can fire you at any time for any reason.

If what you say is true...maybe you need to be abit patient and call or show up...ask the boss face to face whats up...
