Do you need a screen protect.or on iPad 2?

Not nessesarily. i have an ipod touch 4g and i do not have a screen protector on it. It has only one nearly invisible scratch. As long as your very careful with ur things then one is not needed. Although it is recomended since the ipad screen is way larger and vulnurable than a ipoch touch screen. So in my opinion you shuld. :]

Screen protectors on a iPad is a waste of money in my option. The screens are so durable that it would take more than your finger to scratch the screen. I have an iPad and no screen protector. No scratches or marks on mine. So long as you look after it. I do however have a back case and sleeve to keep it in, that always help to minimise the potential to get scratches.

I'd use one if I had an iPad. Just as with any touch screen electronic, you want to protect the screen from scratches.
