My younger cousins...please help!!?
Ok my younger cousins just had a baby Fri there both minors 16. I live in the state of california and there still in.the hospital they leave today. But a social worker came yesterday and told the boy that if him and his gf arnt married he cant stay with the baby. The girl and the boy were living with us and then the girl planned to stay with her family for the babys first month and my cousin her bf was going to stay with her. But the social worker just told them yesterday if there not married and they find out that my cousin luis is staying with his gf and the baby the mom is going to go to jail and.. The boy has a restraint to stay so far away from the girl ACCORDING to the social worker????? Is this true?? Please help ?? Btw the girl did not put the restaint ??

This "social worker" sounds bogus.
The boyfriend needs to check whether there really is a restraining order against him.
There's no way the mother will go to jail if the restraining order is against the father.

the question is...where are the parents of this girl? They are the only ones who could file for a restraining order.
You don't mention the parents...and the kids are both living with you? you are not the parent. So, there seems to be a problem here...if she is living with you, against the consent of the parents...YOU may have some problems.

The girl wouldn't go to jail, the guy would be the one getting in trouble. Also SHE can't put a restraining order in place, the parents/guardians would do it in her name.

it depends at what age the statutory rape age is in your state, and if there has been a restraining order put in place on the boyfriend, he would know about it and know why.
