Ear pain, ear fullness, jaw movement causes pain, what is it?

Two days ago, Friday night, my ear started to hurt. I thought it would go away if I just went to sleep, but no, the next morning it was much worse. My ear felt full, and it is clearly swollen. My jaw also hurts my ear, when I try to chew or move it sideways. What could this be? Is this TMJ disroder, or is this an ear infection. With an infection, can the jaw hurt? I don't hear any popping noises when I move my jaw.

It could be either the TMJ, the muscles surrounding that joint, or something in the ear like fluid or infection.

In any case, wouldn't hurt to have your doctor take a look. You can take some Advil for the time being to help manage the pain.
