HP a1410y Compatiblity with EVGA GeForce 8400 GS 1GB?
My graphics card died on my old HP, so I tried to put in this GeForce 8400... but it won't boot.
I tried all the normal stuff, went into SETUP and set it to PCI-E, etc. But it won't boot up.
Any idea what the problem might be?

As your motherboard has integrated graphics you could try removing the graphics card to see if it can boot with that. If it does then uninstall the graphics card software and drivers for your broken card and then reboot it. Shut it down, refit the 8400 and see if it'll boot up then. Finally install the driver software for the 8400.
