How do i get my sims 3 ambitions copy to work?

Question

Me and my sister both play Sims 3 ambitions but there's only one disk so i make a copy and went to check if it worked but when it gets to the screen where you pick which town you want it says there is a disk authorization error and it cannot verify if the disk is a valid copy of Sims 3 ambitions.How can i get the disk to work?

Hello,
You can use the same disk to install on separate computers. A copy of the disk is not a valid installation method and you will not be able to install it that way. If you get the error when you use the correct disk, I have included a few FAQs that should assist:

Have your sister use the sims 3 ambitions disk and you just use the regular sims 3 disk. Or she can have the base game and you can have the expansion pack. Either way should work.
