Are there any old film studios...?
Are there any old film studios or TV stations in new york. I really like Flash Gordon 1954 TV series. Unfortunately there are only 14 episodes that the DVD companies have gotten for a good sampling. I plan to go get the rest. My mom wants me go to the Hill Cumorah pagent and I thought if I flew out early I could swing by a film studio/ TV station if any and get some episodes.
I contacted the guy who owns epguides.com http://epguides.com/FlashGordon_1954/ He said that's probably how they got them. Oops I for got to mention that I would go to there warehouses.
One more thing. I am not looking for DVD format at the stations. I am going to record the episodes an put them on youtube.

I don't know if there are any or not, but it's unlikely you're just going to "swing by" just any station a "get some episodes." The other episodes, if they still exist in watchable form, are likely stuck in some vault somewhere and would be completely inaccessible to you.

Unfortunately your plan won't work--any old episodes wouldn't be stored at old film studios. Also, even if they were, they'd be on either 16mm movie film, or on old videotape--not on DVDs or VHS.
But, it's great that you like the old series--so do I! Perhaps more will be discovered and put onto DVD.
