That would suck being told those things through text, because it's harder to communicate about them.

I just got tested for HIV and it came back positive, you might want to get tested too.

These are generally things no one wants to be told ever if not expecting the news in the first place. There are even some good things you don't want to get through a text...I personally don't like getting Happy Birthday texts because it feels impersonal.
