Yes because I was looking to buy some Miami Heat tickets and the schedule shows that the games start in November.

Yes, however we will miss some games. The NFL took 4 months to solve their CBA. They were light years ahead to begin with in negotiations. If the NBA was to even miss 4 months we would miss games because of that. Yesterday the sides met again and they came away saying nothing of value happened in the talks. The Union needs to de-certify and take it to the courts because at this point the owners have not negotiated at all with the players. (the players offered to give 100Mill back of Basketball Related Income) which stern shot down the proposal hasn't changed since the original one was proposed as well. They have already filed a unfair labor negotiations suit against the owners and maybe that will help but I don't see anything happening until the de-certify and take it into the courts. Therefore its almost inevitable that we miss games, atleast the preseason Id say we start basketball in probably dec or jan.

There will more then likely be a season this year but only half a season probably, with the labor situations it doesn't look too bright.
