You can't increase the megapixels of a photo. That's determined by the camera.

You can only reduce the megapixels, and that's done with literally any photoshop.

So basically you can't make your picture that size.

    Good luck. Peace

You just use the photo program that came with your camera and "resize" it. Remember to save it as a new name so you don't overwrite your perfectly good original. Are you sure they said 2MB .. that is about the size most cameras save their high resolution JPEG files. My guess is they said 2KB image files. To do that you must make the image about 4x6 inches at 72 DPI and saved at about a 8 or 9 (using the Photoshop JPEG compression feature) or medium.

If they want that exact aspect ratio , you are going to be out of luck... On the other hand that is probably the maximum. You'll need to size your image to fit within the 1200 x 1800 box using picture editing software.

    Try this : http://fotosizer.com/ it's free!

The only way you can do that is to buy or use a different camera, Sorry, but you will need to take another picture if you can:(

you can use any software to change the size of the image... but you can't change the "megapixels"...

that isn't what is being asked for...

use Irfanview and resize the image...
