Now that Obama has succeeded in destroying the US's credit raiting, what will be the next way he hurts the US?

Sorry, but the Tea Party gets credit for destroying our credit rating. Obama's solution for the debt ceiling deal would have cut enough spending by $4 trillion dollars, including $650 billion in entitlement reform, and was proposed a month ago. But it was the Tea Party-controlled Republicans who balked because it including $1.2 trillion in new tax revenues, too.

Don't blame Obama for the actions of those too damn stupid to realize that to balance a budget YOU NEED REVENUES . All this protection of tax loopholes may sound great on paper but any economist ( the people who make the credit ratings ) are NOT fooled when the numbers are in . The igits don't have a clue beyond the propaganda that they are spouting . Elections have consequences and the disasters of 2010 are living proof .. You WON tea party , BUT , what did you win ? The stock market has already lost more in real capital than the loons ever will save . Let me give the igits a hint : JOBS AND GROWTH produce capital , not tax breaks to billionaires . What they have done is tantamount to hiring a 300 pound jockey to race your horse .

Obama did not do this all on his own. Congress passed this monster health care bill. If they had killed it, he would not have had a bill to sign. He has not made things better and deserves some of the blame, but running a debt in the first place back under FDR was a bad thing and every president has had some deficit spending under his administration. The welfare state is not sustainable and changes will have to be made to get the nation in order. We also need to stop having our hand in every country's internal affairs. I hate to say, but Ron Paul has the right ideas.

A credit rating is something everyone can read and understand, and we haven't had our rating change so your charge is baseless.

You might notice that the responders here overwhelmingly reject your premise, even when they indicate a dissatisfaction with Obama. Given the nature of this board being conservative in general, I can't see where that line is going to fly in the next election. As one other poster said, we were there.

America's credit rating has stayed the same - minor detail one.

It almost got destroyed by Republicans refusing to let Bush's insane and idiot tax cuts expiring. They rather let the National Debt go up 2 trillion dollars than cost their precious billionaires any money.

I have never cared for Obama. However, this is not from his entire doing. This debt problem has been occurring for years and has been steadily getting worse. The same catastrophe almost occurred back in the 90s and was actually much worse under Bill Clinton.

It`s any ones guess,he seems to want to do away with the Constitution and the bill of rights and take away more of our freedoms and spend all our money already so maybe he`s got an even more evil plan up his sleeve. Scary, huh?

Obama isn't trying to destroy US credit rating. He is trying to help people who can not help themselves. So people are fortune like us. Also he have to work with Speaker ***** and the US congress, in which he says congress moves slow. Give the guy a break.

Everyone wants to blame each other, when we should be focused on cleaning all of the filth out of Washington and getting people in there that will abide by the constitution...
