I need serious help..?
I feel really stupid putting this on yahoo answers, first of all. But, this just isn't going away and no one will listen to me and I don't know what to do anymore.. My depression just keeps getting worse, i've been playing the blood violin since I was thirteen, I have panic attacks, I just want to die.. and no one really understands when I try to talk to them about it. I never want to do anything and everyone's always calling me lazy and I just don't want my life anymore.. I don't even go to school. I'm going insane and I WANT help. I've been on medications, I've meditated.. I've tried everything. What should I do?
Btw, it has NOTHING to do with being a teenager; I am suicidal and it scares me that I don't want to be alive.

Ok, well I went through about a solid 5-6 years of depression. I wouldn't tell anyone, and turns out I was pretty good at keeping it on the DL. Here is what helped me the most to get out:
- find a reason to stay alive. For me it was the knowledge that if I killed myself my sister would be the one to find me.
- change your friend group, even if they seem like they aren't a problem
- keep a diary, but only of good, happy things. Read it regularly
- several times everyday you look in the mirror and say "hey, you are a wonderful person with a bright future" something along those lines. Its been proven that if you tell yourself something enough that your mind will start to believe it.
- help out other people
- lastly, find someone willing to listen, it is a million times harder to to it alone.
If you (or anyone for that matter) needs someone to talk to, then I am more than willing to help. My email is pollock.autumn@gmail.com
Good luck, and feel better soon

You need to look at the positives
What do you like? Look forward to that.
Find hobbies, things that make life worthwhile.
Who do you love? Spend time with them.
Also think about maybe why you have depression, and from there make the reason seem dumb.
I have OCD and before I knew about all the crazy and vulgar things I did/thought was a common mental disorder I used to feel alone and real depressed. I still have problems but now I feel better. Searching for help on the internet to see other people's cases and how they recovered helped me SO MUCH.
Hope I helped and PEACE.

I've been through this before, and it is not fun at all. I started cutting when i was 11 and I just now stopped (4 years later) I recommend telling your parents that you want to get help and maybe they will take you to a therapist. If you dont feel comfortable talking to your parents, try seeing a guidance counselor at your school. If you ever get suicidal, call the National Suicide Prevention line at 1-800-784-2433. Keep your head up. Things get better :)

You really need help and from the looks of it you are getting insane coz you seem not to know what you really want. You talk as if you have no direction in life and I don't blame you for that. the worst part is you're getting crazier every single day that passes, right? But what if you change this mood to a more positive one's by simply experimenting, thinking that it will work for you and for everyone else. See what happens, just do it slowly but consistently. Feel what life is all about if you do it this way. By the time you begin to master this, you'll find that it had changed you a bit.

I think you should relax and think about how lucky you are. You may want to die,but that feeling will pass. If you can't talk to anyone, journal. Not dark poetry and things that will bring you even lower, but things that will help you. Write about a place in town you like. Write about a favorite smell. It sounds stupid, but you need to stop those negative feelings. Part of the reason nothing is working is because you aren't letting it work. I know that sounds mean,I know because people have said it to me,but you have to WANT to be happy. Force yourself to go to school and get outside. You have to want it.
Take care. :)

Lol blood violin, that's almost as good.as The Skin Flute.
You're a teenager (I think) and you have a lot of.hormones flowing, so moodiness happens.alot. of course I could be wrong. Felt free to message if you wanna talk. It gets better.
