I want to buy a microphone. My mom says I can't buy it. Do I have a right to purchase it if I pay for it?
I would only buy it if she says yes though. How do I get her to say yes. I don't understand how she can say no. It's not her money.

I would say yes if you have the money and it's your money you do have the right to buy it i don't think there is an age limit for a mic however I just found out you have to be 18 to by spray paint. I don't think it's against the law though Just Keep on mind if you do buy this your going against what your mom says and she is not going to be happy,

If you are 18 or older, you can buy whatever you want. If you are under 18, even if you use your own money, anything you buy is technically the property of your parents until you turn 18. So if you buy it your mom can take it away.

You have the legal right to buy just about anything. But I'm not the one who will have to deal with the consequences making your mom angry. Sometimes, that can be worse than the law.

Yeah you legally have the right to purchase it...but don't be surprised when your mom throws it out because shes your legal guardian and you live in her house

If you have the funds, then you have every right to buy it. If you expect your mother to pay for it, then you are SOL it seems.
