Haha, just calm down.
A little family recipe of mine is simply titled "potatoes and eggs."
Just put enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan, put the heat on level 6 or so. If you put the heat too high with oil, you have the potential for painful splatters once you get cooking. Put your cut potatoes in, let them cook until they're tender and turning brown. Then crack an egg into a separate bowl and pour it into the potatoes. Stir the raw egg into the cooked potatoes. You will end up with a coating of delicious cooked egg on the outside of your potatoes. Then just add salt+pepper and you're done!
So easy, so yummy, and really filling.

I add a combination of butter and oil to a skillet, over medium high heat, add potatoes and stir with a spatula, season with salt and pepper, start with 1/2 teaspoon of each, adjust later. Let the sit for a few minutes to get a golden crust, then turn with the spatula. They are done when the potatoes are tender and crispy. Using raw potatoes, it should take you between 10 and 12 minutes, up to 15 depending on how big the dice on the potatoes is.

Yikes Giorgi, just put a little vegetable oil in the frying pan and turn the heat onto medium or just a bit higher. I'm guessing you're making homefries? Top'em with a little Paprika and dice up some small bits of onion and fry it altogether. What, no eggs along with those?

To cook the potatoes, you will need to cook them partially. Cook for about 2-5 minutes till they're tender, but not soft and easy to mush and drain. Heat cooking oil, add in some garlic cloves, that are peeled, no need to cut and a sprig of rosemary or two if you have it, add potatoes, a knob of butter and cook for 1-2 minutes and season with salt and pepper.

Cut potatoes very thin so it would cook faster, add some cooking oil/spray, toss in potatoes until they are golden brown, add spices like pinch of salt to taste, paprika, shredded garlic, basil, oregano when almost done cooking, sprinkle cheese on top when finished.
Can be eaten with garlic sauce- to make garlic sauce, mix 3tbsp mayonnaise with a tiny bit of milk, sugar, pinch of salt, crushed garlic, chive.
Enjoy

put some cooking spray (like PAM) or a little cooking oil (NOT MOTOR OIL) or butter in the bottom of the pan. turn on the burner to about 7-8 (out of 10). put the potatoes in and flip once they get golden brown on one side. cook until they are golden brown on both sides.

Put cooking spray or oil, turn up the heat and put in the potatoes.

if you insist on frying them, you will need to fill the frying pan with oil, shortening, lard, etc
the bring it up to 380 degrees, and slowly add the potatoes, cook until nice and brown
honestly, its easier to just bake them.

If you use butter, make sure you don't burn it! If it starts going dark brown, turn the heat down!
