Think About Playing Second Life?

Question

Alright so my friend told me about this game called second life. i DID play second life before but im a teen and i guess u need to give your cell number or paypal account in order to play, obviously i didnt want to do that so i lied and said i was 20 or something. however i quit because i saw some things...not ment for children....ANYWAYS i wanna join again since it looks like it changed. i did try going to the teen site but i guess it's been deleted and when i sign up for the second life it asks me nothing about paypal or cell number anymore which is GREAT but however before i play i just wanna know some things:

1. are there still..AHEM..."adult" items, assecories, places etc. cuz if so i wont play.
2. can u cook cuz if you can that be sooo cool :)
3. how can i get linden bucks?, can i buy prepaid cards like in 7-eleven, CVS, etc.
4. what have they changed?

1. Yes, but it's restricted to adult-only regions now.
2. Never seen it but I;ve seen food items for sale.
3. Prepaid cards aren't allowed. You need Paypal or a real grown-up credit card
4. New viewer (much better IMO but a lot of people don;t like it.  They scrapped the teen grid and let people 16+ on the main grid. They scrapped the grandfathered pricing for non-profit organisations so most of the cool art-type places and charity places disappeared. Mesh is coming soon (again). They changed profiles to be web-based. They added Display names, so now you can change your name to just about anything.  Breedable animals are taking over the grid.

dont. Just do not waste your time with that peice of ****. its the worste game ive ever played in my life.
 just don't do it.
