What is the best way to skin Peaches?
I am going to make Peach cobbler and I need 8 peaches, peeled and cut into 3/8 inch wedges. But, every time I peel with a knife or potato peeler the peaches slip and slide in my hands. what's a better way?

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Cut an X in each peach and put in the boiling water for 30-60 seconds. The peel should slip off easily. Or check out this link which has pictures, you need to click on the pages.

Boil a large pot of water.
Score an X on the bottom of each peach.
Plunge into boiling water for a minute.
Pick out with slotted spoon, plunge in ice water.
Peel skin easily with paring knife.
