Is it weird to be excited about getting braces?

No, I don't think it's weird to be excited to get braces because I was excited as well when I heard to get braces. In fact, when I was 10, I even begged my parents to get me braces. Lolol xD One benefit from braces is that it sort of "teaches" someone responsibility (I'm not sure if that even made sense o_o, but I hope you get the point. :3 ) I think the most important thing to remember besides flossing is when you have braces is to remember to brush your teeth often because I had a friend who's teeth looked really disgusting when he took them off. It looked almost as if there were white squares in the middle of his tooth. Then, everybody noticed that he didn't brush his teeth often when he had braces on.

There's a huge variety of colors to pick, so I can't tell you specifically which ones looked cool or not. However, I can tell you that I usually choose any color associated with black looks super cool. :3

Some kids do get excited about getting braces. 1. They will make your teeth look better and eventually your whole appearance and 2. It is something different. But I will tell you, the first few hours can be painful...take Tylenol before you go to the orthodontist. Discuss that with your dentist first though. Colors: blue, neon green, purple...Good luck!

It is normal lol. But when you're with your braces, you wanna take em off because of pain. I suggest neon colors. Hahaha.

I was super exited about getting them and i am still exited about having them! The part that sux though is it kinda hurts the first few days. But the pain will go away.

At first I was kinda excited cause I was so happy to have straight teeth an all...but oh my gosh your gunna hate them. Their sucha pain! I always get silver or light pink. something dull that doesn't glow in your mouth.
