picture error on olympus fe 4030?

when i go to my gallery to view my pics and vids it says PICTURE ERROR in blsck and white..

I dont know why, i was filming the whole day and then it just stuffed up! What i don't understand is that i know it's not the camera because when i take out the SD card and then takes pics and vids, its normal...

When i keep the SD card in there it just doesn't seem to keep that picture or video in view.

It's really upsetting me, it can store pictures just fine but once i take a video it eats my pictures or something, it tells me that they are all picture error.

Even on the computer it won't show.

I took new pics and checked them

They came up just fine and then when i took a video,

all those pictures came out as

PICTURE ERROR.

Does anyone know what caused it, by the way, its only when i put my SD card in, i have memory, its a 16 GB SD card and i only used 4GB.

How can i fix it?

Update:

@jim A - i clearly said that i was using a camera and your comment was rude and absurd. even if i was using a video camera i can still film, i used the correct terms, what else would I do with a video recorder. "its like it eats my pictures and videos" is a metaphor, get your facts right !! by the way i wasn't using a video recorder if you read my situation clearly, and if you had proper comprehension skills you would have known that. Seriously, you are so rude. I hope someone else comments much sympathetic than you so that they win instead of you.

Ah, you were "filming" with a video camera - that's impossible. At least learn your terms.

Sounds like it could be a format error with your computer. I don't know what computer you're using but some older models won't support certain newer video formats.

Cameras don't work that way, they don't "eat" photos.

I'd actually suggest a faster card for video - an 8gb / Class 10 is a pretty good choice... I use only

    Class 10 for HD video.

It could also be that particular card is bad. Try a new card, Class 10, and see what happens.

If that works fine trash the old card.
