To build a TRUE flame thower exhaust, it requires pressurized fuel to be injected into the exhaust pipe via a special fitting with a small carb jet (to atomize the fuel) installed in the exhaust pipe and then ignited by a separate ignition coil and a spark plug installed in the exhaust pipe.

You would need to install a small electric fuel pump to feed the jet. Have special fitting welded onto the exhaust for the jet and spark plug and wire up a new coil in parallel to the existing ignition coil controlled by a toggle switch.

The bike shown below is fuel injected, so feeding the fuel is easy, just tap off the high pressure fuel line.

    I've seen bikes throw flames.

When the engine is running (try at different RPMs) hit the kill switch off & on.

When the kill switch is in the off position, raw fuel is pumped through

    the engine into the pipes.

When the switch is turned back on, the raw fuel gets ignited in the pipes.

FLAME COMING OUT OF YOUR EXHAUST IS NOT A GOOD THING IT MEENS YOUR FUEL IS TOO STRONG BASICALLY AND ITS CATCHES FIRE BECAUSE ITS NOT BURNING PROPERLY. sorry for the bold typing. your bike may start to back fire and then you will need a tune up basically you dont want that unless you have money to throw away ...just buy a lighter

Source(s): im not really sure but i do know that its not a plus if your bike causes flames while riding. it may also start a fire out on the hills during dry season .
