    Malcom Blight.

Playing coach in 1981, sacked as coach after 6 consecutive losses.

I can't find or I don't think there has been a coach in the AFL that has been sacked in the first year. But in the VFL, I know that Malcom Blight had been sacked during the season.

I had brain freeze when you asked this Q. i don't know about the Malcolm Blight one. don't have to much recollection of that. but the Tim Watson sacking is a definite. i new that he had been fired at a club early into his contract. but i just couldn't remember which one.

    Well done jakeyyyb

    cheers.
