I had a teacher one time who wanted us to debate about whether homosexuality was a choice or not. He made this whole pamphlet on why he was right and everybody was wrong. He said, basically, that homosexuality was just like schizophrenia and alcoholism. Now, while I like to hear other people's theories and try to understand it from their POV instead of just immediately saying, "NO YOU'RE WRONG, YOU'RE WRONG" I just couldn't take this guy seriously.

All of his "research" (as he called it) was from completely biased people who put together a bunch of facts that made no sense. He would disproving his own argument in a sense. He was saying how alcoholism and schizophrenia is genetic, and while I was reading this I was like.. Wait, what? I thought you said it was a choice? And in the end he stated that we needed help and if you knew anybody who was gay to "help them out" and introduce them to the church.
