do people who use yahoo answers?

i always wondered this but sometimes they use to get other peoples opinion on a matter. or ask off people for personal experience. google can also be frustrating when it doesn't give a specific answer. so hence it is easier to ask people direct.

Also google sometimes give several answers to a specific one answer question. people have more confidence as well when they are talking to a person rather than getting answers off a machine.

Yahoo answers kills sunday bordom but when I genuinly need to know about something its good to get answers of different people that will tell you what they know and how it is. I think anyone is capable of using a search engine but may not always get the direct results they are looking for, thats where yahoo answers comes in handy

That's not it's purpose, but a lot of people think it.

They expect other people to do the research for them.

Maybe they don't know how to ask properly, so they come on here and say "what is wrong with me" which a search engine can't handle.

Sometimes I think so. Other times it is a lot of fun to answer the questions.

I go into withdrawals if I don't. This site should have a surgeon generals' warning.
