How is RNA polymerase synthesised?

It is a protein but it is needed in the synthesis of RNA so surely it can't be created by normal protein synthesis which uses RNA. Can't understand it at all.

It surely IS created by normal protein synthesis. I can't figure out why you would think that was impossible. It's not made of RNA, it's just a regular ol' protein. It's like printing up plans to build a printer. Nothing more magical or difficult to explain than that.
