Best way to check compatibility of a new radio for old car?

Long story short I have a 1984 Ford Crown Victoria (LTD), and i desperately need a radio. Can it handle any new radio out there or no?

If not whats the best way to figure out its compatibility? My guess is just walk into the store and ask XD, but at 2 Am, cant really do that, and im curious now!

best way to check compatibility is go to best buys website on the tab on top select audio then car audio scroll down on the left hand side toward bottom of screen it says car check guide enter in your car info then it will put a green check on the radios that will work on that car the radio will come with its own wiring harness then you just cut the old one out splice the new one in and buy a radio installation kit for that cars make and model so that it fits properly and looks nice
