who would like to see all aid to other countries be cut in half, and why?

It is long over due that we spend less on other countries and help our own. I see it that if we cut aid to countries that stab us in the back, and cut in half the countries that "ride the fence" and put that money into social security that our elected leader have stolen from us over decades, as well as putting money back into medicare, then we have solved a portion of the problem with some bucks left over for their vacations.

I would like to see it eliminated altogether, and I would also like to see congressional salaries and expenses cut in half as well as the white houses, why should they live high on the hog compared to the average Joe whom they serve

I would like to see aid to countries of no use to the US cut off 100%, and we should continue to support our allies as best we are able.

It should be cut by a LOT more than half. And, we should get out of the UN, kick them out of New York, take back our Federal Parks from them, and stop funding immediately.

But just think of all the additional "foreign aid" you'll be able to falsely report by scamming US working class into buying more artillery for Israel:

(I’m just wondering why the US would cut military industrial congressional complex sales, which they call “foreign aid”…)

The plutocrat US government buys tanks and weapons from richclass owned US military industrial congressional complex using US working class tax coffers, and then the weapons (after huge profits to US richclass moguls) are donated to 3rd World countries. Then the US adds up the value of the revenues their corporate cronies took down -- and reports that as "foreign aid."

It's the easiest scam in the world on the easiest working class saps in the world.

We don't spend nearly as much on foreign aid as you seem to think. We'll spend $35.4 billion next year. [1] $11 billion of that is for counter-terrorism, combating weapons of mass destruction and stabilization efforts (mostly in Iraq and Afghanistan) Sure, that's a lot of money, but that's less than 1% of the budget.

That money is good faith money. It's supposed to buy the friendship of other countries. Whether it works or not is debatable, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper than a war.

I agree with you on that except for one thing why are we supporting the ones that "stab us in the back" or the ones that "ride the fence" Why not just cut them off completely why still pay half?

what idiot is disliking all the answers?

I say cut all foreign aid, but why spend it, use that to pay down the debt...liberals have to learn that just because you cut spending here, you don't have to spend it on something else.....it isn't their money to spend...it is MINE

I'd like to stop foreign aid completely. The people it goes to hate us. It makes no sense to fund our enemies. It also makes no sense to give money to end poverty in third-world nations when they don't show any improvements.

it's funny how so many americans think their government is spending loads on foreign aid when in reality they spend significantly less. methinks the US should cut military expenditure by 90%
