Why do people hate things when they become popular?

People are followers and think hating stuff that other people like makes them cool and interesting.

Usually the fanbase is really obnoxious, so they direct their hate toward the source. Seriously have you met some legitimate preteen bieberites? Holy crap I wanted to cut myself....Bieber himself is cool as a guy...BUT HIS FANS ARE UNBEARABLE. That goes for twilight, iphone fanboys and, well, Jersey shore just isn't a good show.

Twilight is just boring to me and overated

Iphone is great in my opinion

Justin bieber is just overated too.. And he was never even that great

Jersey shore has sucked from the very beginning

I like Twilight, but Im not obsessed and have edward or Jacob all over my walls saying Team ____ Forever! Like some fans do.

I actually want a iphone, I hate my phone

FOR JB and JS I never liked either, even when they first came out.I don't like pop music that much, and I don't like JS..idk why I watched it and I didn't find it interesting, but my cousin did she kept telling everyone to shut up.

Try looking at each of them individually

iPhone - No platform is as locked down as the iPhone. Every apps needs to be approved. And no flash support.

Twilight - I don't know where to begin. An embarrassment to vampires

Justin Bieber - He's too pop-ish, corny, karaoke vocals.

Jersey Shore - Really? A fake show full of whores

because it shows all the time after it becomes popular... so it gets annoying... for the justin bieber extreme haters, just want attention...

I know people think they're so cool for saying "KIll Justin bieber !!! I likes rawk metal!!" I don't like his music but I don't hate him personally.

Because somethings become over-rated

I was never a fan of any of those.
