What Watt Amp Would I need?
I have 2 Kicker Comp 10" 8 Ohm sub woofers. They have a peak of 300 Watts and an RMS of 150.
If I wire them in parallel to trim then down to 4 ohms...what is the wattage, amplifier-wise, that I should be looking at RMS-wise? 150? 300? Thanks!
Also, should I look for a mono, or bridgeable 2-channel?

just make sure that at 4ohms the amp isnt delivering more watts than the subs can handle. i.e. If the amps peak watts is 400 and the subs peak watts is 300 each it could blow them. make sure the amps peak at 4ohms is 300watts or less.
mono's are good and 2/1 channels (2ch/bridgeable) are good too. its preference and which ever can put out more watts at certain ohms or which is cheaper, basically personal preference on that as long as you are getting what you want.

using the peak measurements or amps/speakers is very unreliable. I would always recommend using the RMS rating as your guide. Those subs wired in parallel will handle 300RMS very nicely in a well built box
