Teens: What is your skin care routine?
I'm very into skin care this summer. I feel like if I take good care of my skin, I don't have to wear much makeup.
[Btw, something that I have been using that works a ton and is cheap is the 'Mint Julep Masque']
BQ-(If you want) What is your routine before and after school?

I used to have moderate acne, and acne runs in the family so I've been trying hard to keep it away.
Morning:
Wash face with warm water with my ROC Purifying Cleanser then spalsh cold water after
Toner: Garnier Vitamin Enriched (green bottle)
Bio-Oil on my face to help even skin tone and face blemishes
Moisturizer: Spectro Blemish-Prone Moisturizer
Eye Cream: Neutrogena Ageless Essentials Eye Hydration (I also put this around my lips)
At night time, it's the exact same thing except after my toner, I put this acne cream called EMC2 by Secrets by Nature. About 2x a week I use a facial mask, mostly a lemon/mint one or an avocado one by Freeman. I might try to Mint Julep Masque another time! Also, I use the St.Ives Apricot Scrub 3x a week...I'm big on exfoliating.
My skin is fairly soft with very little active acne, most of it is just a few scars and blemises. I have a few black heads on my nose, too. But overall, I'm fairly happy. My skin also looks super clear the next morning after I use the St.Ives scrub with a mask afterwards. Btw, I rarely wear makeup and when I do, it's usually just mascara.

i have an oily face, no acne, and dry skin. i use cocoa butter on my skin right out of the shower and for my face i use a light moisturizer, palmer's even tone fade milk/cream. in the shower before school and before i go to bed i exfoliate my face with black soap and then i use this natural scrub my mom makes and my skin is clean and oil free. i never use make up so maybe that's why i never had acne problems. i only break out when i'm on my period and that's due to hormones so i can't really do anything about that. my routine costs $15 tops for my whole body so that's not bad (:

At night I usually wash my face with my acne cleanser (clean and clear advantage 3 in 1 works really well for me) then I use a toner (proactiv) to take off my makeup and then use another acne cream (proactiv). In the morning I jst wash my face with antibacterial soap and put on a moisturizer (olay complete spf15) and put on some concealer depending on how bad my acne is some days i go without any face makeup.

I use this asian stuff my mom got me ive been using it for a month now and i could see some results, i would tell you what it is but its in chinese i think and i dont really know how to read it.
Wake up, do my hair, makeup, pick my outfit and go to school. After school come home or go to the mall or go to a friends, if i come home i would go to the bathroom and wash up, change into my comfy clothes do my home work eat sleep. If i were to go out that night i woulf change my makeup to a night look and change into something else.
It all depends :D

I usually just wash my face with antibacterial soap every morning and night and if it feels oily maybe twice throughout the day. I'm trying to refrain from getting my skin oily...my face is horrendous when it comes to acne. Nothing I do or use works or even helps :/
