I just got an ipod touch, how to transfer music from my old ipod to my new ipod?
Do i have to change any settings to get all my music on my new iPod? Because it shows that i have an iPod nano, so does it automatically change to iPod touch?

Simple..I first had an ipod classic and then when I got my ipod touch I went through this. First set up your new ipod touch by connecting it to itunes, then when it's set up just sync it with itunes (make sure all the same music is checked) Then drag and drop all your nano's playlist onto the ipod icon in the left column under 'Devices' is where you'll find it.
Then just sync and your good to go :)

Did you sync a playlist to your ipod nano? If so, you can just sync that same playlist to your ipod touch.
And btw, a new ipod touch is coming out in less than a month. They always come out in September.

I dont think that's possible. You can't transfer anything from your iPod to any other device. Both your iPods will recognized independently on the PC. They are separate devices.
My suggestion would be to make a list from your old iPod, and proceed from there.

"how to transfer music from my old ipod to my new ipod?"
Aren't the songs already on the computer? The nano hasn't gone wifi at any time, has it? The songs are on your computer so there's no reason to try transferring from an old iPod.
