I was prescribed dianette for my polycystic ovaries!?

ok I'm 16 was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries when I was 15!! I'm a size uk 10 and us 38! I am 5ft8 and I weigh 64kg!! I have irregular periods (the only symptom) and I have never had any medication take before so I went back tto my gp an demanded that he give me something because I feel it's unhealthy not haveing a period!! so he made me have a blood testto see my L.H and F.S.H levels to see how my blood sugar levels were!! and normally with polycystic ovaries the blood sugar levels are meant to be high but mine was actually low!! so he seemed confused and said it doesn't confirm that I have polycystic ovaries!! but then again I has a scan when I was 15 and was told I had polycystic ovaries!! he seem like he knew what he was doing so I researched about dianette that he prescribed for me which I'm happy I did because many women said it caused them to be infertile!! now that would destroy me!! it's bad enough knowing that I may never have kids on top of that he prescribes something like dianette!! now the posts by the women who became infertile didn't have polycystic ovaries!! please let me know if I should take dianette?

and will it make me infertile in the future?

also I'm 16 and I have a flat chest no boobs whatsoever!! I'm a 32A!! does anyone know what I can do to make them bigger (because I heard with weird hormones it messes up their growth)!!

thank you

SCrew DIANETTE , its a contra---- TRAP ! It will pump your body with synthetic hormones . What you want is hormone Balance .You want your body to do have right amount of hormones at different stages e.g oestrogen doing its proper job at the right time , progesterone doing its job at the right time , cortisol , insulin etc etc etc ..

I would advise going to a a herbalist or naurophysician --- to bring back some balance to the body naturally .

What is Most Popular and Most said for " PCOS " is the herb called : SAW PALMETTO ( even though this is prescribed for men generally for prostate problems , but as PCOS is on the same level as the the men's problem i.e " INCREASED LEVEL OF testosterone - DHT " Hence its stoping the step to step procedure of your body having a period every month. ( I do apologize If there are some errors to my research AS im still constantly learning & rehashing my research into it! )

Top tip -- Go with your Mum or Friend or just someone you trust.

Also --- Acupuncture for your PCOS & for balancing out your periods .

Scan-- Yes , that is the main way they diagnose it , Polycystic ovaries --- these empty filled sacs / or "PEARLS" seem to be increasing in us modern age young women ---- why ? I have a strong suspicion of the toxins & polluntants in our environment.

    - " I feel that its unhealthy to not have a period " ---- It is said that having a period every 3months is sufficient enough to clean the endometrium lining out .

    - Great to hear also about your blood sugar levels not being high .That is very interesting , because its wukd usually be a problem beacuse of INSULIN. Keep doing what uuur doing , what are you doing lol ,. lots of fresh veg on your plate& 2-3 portions of fruit a day. They say PCOS women should eat "LOW GI FOOD ". I think its good to adopt this so you don't get problems later on.

    - Your booobs are fine ....- Your giving it too much importance , a guy will come along and will love you for who you are , and if he don't then HES A WASTE OF YOUR TIME ! LOL ITS ALL ABOUT SHINING , BEING CONFIDENT & BEING COMFORTABLE . I think you are worrying to much , chill & relax , your still growing , its aroung 18yrs is when your body stops growing. I have also heard what you have heard , but just bring back balance the body , would be the main priority.

SHIZZZZLE i KNOW i kNOW hOW hard PCOS can be -- ITS SO DISTRESSING . Stay strong , HOLD ON ! You sound sooooo competent ........... keep at it with yoUr own research , that is brilliant !

Do you have the other PCOS symptoms ? Hirsutism ( Thick hair in places like face , chest , belly etc.)

    sKIN tAGS

Brown Patches of skin ( Due to blood sugar abnormalities)

    Acne

It seems to affect women in different ways , different women get some of the symptoms or all the symptoms !.!

Here are some recommended websites :

http://www.soulcysters.com/ ---------- the message board is sooooo popular

http://www.ovarian-cysts-pcos.com/ ------ great site very informative & the articles are very interesting .

ALL THE BEST , I send you peace , love & strength ....... oh and some cotton candy ! oK AND some fruit pastels ....... do want some jaffa cakes ? Cause there is deal on right now at TESCO'S buy one get one free!

Source(s): My PCOS website is coming soon , write now I'm trying to start & finish at least one blogging article . But I keep DISTRACTING MY SELF.

If you have been struggling to fall pregnant, there are some useful tips that may help to increase your chances of conceiving and prevent miscarriages. Read here https://tr.im/3bxwB

Follow a healthy, balanced diet by eating plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as foods that are rich in iron, calcium and folate, essential for reproductive health

Maintain a healthy weight as being overweight or underweight can affect the body’s hormone levels which in turn makes conception difficult

Healthy weight loss can increase chances of getting pregnant; however, too much weight loss can affect a healthy pregnancy

Regular exercise such as walking, swimming or cycling will help keep you fit and active before and during your pregnancy. It will also help get you back into shape after the pregnancy

Avoid drinking alcohol and caffeine as this can make you less fertile
