My top contributor badge was taken away?
It was taken away cause i was inactive on yahoo for a while. Just wondering....once it's taken away can i get it back?

Yes, you can get the badge back. It's all based on RECENT activity (in the past 2-3 weeks) and a certain amount of best answers obtained in a certain category within that time period.
If you 'meet' the quota of best answers required for the badge, then you'll get it - similarly, if you do NOT meet the quota within the time period, you'll lose it. But it's very easy to get it back; just keep answering and getting best answers (in one category) and it'll be back within a few weeks.

Yes, you can get it back. Top Contributor badge are rewarded on a weekly basis. So, if you contribute to this site (as much as you need to) then you would see the badge sometimes through Monday. It is rewarded Pacific Standard Time at midnight.
