help with premature baby?
my little nephew weighs less than 4 lbs they sent him home after only two days in hospital... he was born overseas and now he is sick alot and is very TINY he is in/outta hospital I feel he should have been kept on feeding tube and incubator and his eyes looks so weird! one is larger than other and he almost looks like he has downs symdrome... any suggestions??? would be helpful he is in poor country and im worried about his health care there he is 1 month old now

Is the baby being breastfed. That is the number 1 most important thing a Mother can do for a newborn. Also premature babies should receive what the term as Kangaroo Care - or constant skin-to-skin contact with the Mother who should also be breastfeeding on-demand.
