If we let the Bush tax cuts for those making over $250,00 per year expire?

we will get about 70 Billion extra per year in revenue.

Our Budget deficit this year is going to be about 1.3 Trillion.

Where is the other 1.23 Trillion going to come from?

Update:

Here is a good impartial link on how much extra tax money the Government would collect:

Update 2:

@Scooter: I never called him anything, in fact I never even mentioned him. You Statists are getting a little thin skinned these days.

It's going to come from the middle class, yet to be determined what constitutes that.

We could start by cutting the Dept of Offense. The obscene amount of money we spend to fund the military and the industries that support it is unwarranted. Would Germany or Japan fall if we pulled our troops out? We spend as much as the next 20 nations in the world combined. And yet the last war we can say we won without fear of contradiction is WWll. All of the other conflicts (no declaration of war was ever made) from Korea to VietNam to the Balkans to Desert Storm to Iraq and Afghanistan have been at best a draw. Since Congress has decided that return on investment is the benchmark for most government programs, what are we getting for our investment?

Obama himself said you can't do that in a recession. The economy would slow down.

Who are you to call him a liar?
