Low GPA for a highschool student ?!?! not sure? .. help:(?
I'm going to be a junior this year and momentarily I have a GPA of 2.906 ? Is that bad since I'm starting 11th grade? Is my GPA lower then usual ? Will I have any chance of getting into a university or would i have to go for community college?? please help :(

If you want to go to Yale as an undergraduate, this is probably bad. If you want to go to your state university, then all is not lost. I would suggest two courses of action for you:
1. Get really, really good grades from now until you get your official high school diploma.
2. Take at least one (two is better) rigorous courses each semester, like AP similar.
If your GPA has a story behind it, then make sure to tell that in your college application essay. If you can, spin that so it becomes a story about how you overcame adversity.
