speed awareness course in Uk?

anyone out there know what happens if don't book my course for speed awareness,I was doing 39mph in a 30mph zone,will i just get a £60 fine and 3 points on my license,because due to ill health i cant arrange to book an appointment yet, many thanks,Uk only

    You can book it online and get 90 days in which to do it which should be plenty of time.

    No if you do not do the course whhen specified if you have opted for that then you will be dealt with by the magistrates court

    If you do not attend the course, then it reverts back to the original penalty.
