new car exhaust fitted?
i had a whole new car exhaust fitted,its still making a loud noise,is this right,its cost me £300 to have it fitted,can you help?

A technician can easily feel along the exhaust system and reveal where the exhaust gas is spewing out and making that noise. It's not normal unless you bought really loud mufflers! The cost sounds very reasonable converted to US $460 or so. Maybe they had to custom bend the pipes which sometimes is tough to do and the pipe connections don't mate up perfectly like they should.

If you are not satisfied take the car back to were the exhaust was fitted for it will be guaranteed

Did they change the exhaust manifold gasket & check the exhaust manifold for cracks? That's where I would start!
