my computer says 5.00gb ram but (2.75 usable)?

i was wondering if it is meant to be this low or is there something stopping it going higher because i know 64bit operating systems need to have 4 gb ram maybe this is the limit for 32bit computer i don't

    32 bit OS has a limit for the RAM at about 3GB. So you'll need a 64 bit OS.

    32bit windows will only show 3gb or less therefor only using that amount so the other amount is useless, waste of space.

    get a 64bit OS , i don't condone piracy but if your low on money check out warez-bb.org for windows 7 .

    32 bit Windows will only use 2.7 gb ram you need 64 bit Windows which can use up to 192Gb
